Market signal automation and alerting
A signal engine for futures charts paired with a Python service that watches the market around the clock and posts structured alerts to Discord.
The situation
Watching charts is a full-time job that a person does badly at 3 a.m. The goal was tooling: an indicator that draws the setups it recognizes, and a service that watches the feed and sends a structured message when one appears.
What we built
- A chart indicator that identifies and annotates setups in real time
- A long-running Python service that monitors the market and posts alerts to Discord
- A scheduled runner that keeps the service alive and restarts it on failure
- Structured alert messages with the context a person needs to decide
